The present day building comprises distinct areas : the nave from the 19th century; and the choir, chapel and belfry which go back to various periods -from the middle ages to the 16th century-. The final restoration work dates back to 1978 with the removal of all the rendering, and the installation of new unembellished stained- glass.
There are two remarkable chapels from 1520 and 1530, one of which is of the "flamboyant Gothic period".

The organ built by Giovanni Franzetti in 1861, from an Italo-Sardinian structure draft is listed as Monument Historique.

The beautiful onion-domed belfry is one of a number of "Savoie" belfries rebuilt after 1815, the design influenced by Byzantine art.
