Taking advantage of its 1,000 years of history and prestigious heritage, La Roche has been offering tours for the past 10 years. They are organized by the "guides du Patrimoine des Pays de Savoie". Tours last for one and a half to two hours, during which visitors walk around the Medieval City and the Tower of the Counts of Geneva. They are guided by one of seven guides from the Tourist Office, all of whom are passionate about the history of their town, and are capable of sharing this passion with our visitors.

The Medieval City of La Roche is registered "G.P.P.S. site", which certifies competence and know-how of our guides. Effectively, all our guides have successfully completed courses run by the association of "Guides du Patrimoine des Pays de Savoie". This association manages more than 80 sites around Savoie and Haute-Savoie. Its principal function is to show off their region in all its splendour in the company of committed guides who have acquired a good grounding in their knowledge of the history of Savoie and the history of Art. |
