In the village of Evires, is the establishment of Mr. Hermann, a pottery craftsman who, for very many years, has been collecting Savoie pottery. Today, his collection is among the most extensive in France, if not in the world, with more than 2,000 antique traditional articles, in use from the 12th to 20th century : milk jugs, cheese strainers, soup tureens, plates, fonts, vinegar cruets...

As an artisan, Mr. Hermann is a master craftsman of note in pottery. His Savoie designs, executed by himself and his son in the family workshop, using a wood fired kiln, are sold worldwide.
